As someone who loves cozy games and farming sims, Fields of Mistria immediately caught my attention when it first launched in Early Access. While I've spent countless hours enjoying beloved titles like Stardew Valley and Sun Haven, I was never completely sold on their color palettes. I found myself constantly downloading, updating, and troubleshooting visual mods just to create the cozy aesthetic I was looking for.
Then Fields of Mistria came along, and it genuinely felt like the cozy game gods had finally answered all of my prayers. From its gorgeous pastel-inspired pixel art to its charming villagers, magical world, and nostalgic '90s anime influences, it was everything I had been hoping for in a farming sim.
After two years of incredible updates, community feedback, and plenty of anticipation, the wait is finally over. Fields of Mistria is officially launching its full 1.0 release on August 5, 2026, bringing the game's Early Access journey to a close.
Everything Coming in the Fields of Mistria 1.0 Update
Version 1.0 delivers the complete Fields of Mistria experience, introducing long-awaited features like marriage, children, the conclusion of the main story, expanded dungeon content, new customization options, and much more.
After two years of Early Access updates and improvements, Mistria has grown into the cozy farming adventure players have been waiting for. Here's a look at the roadmap that led to the full release, followed by everything new coming in version 1.0.

Marriage & Children
Without a doubt, the biggest highlight of the 1.0 update is the addition of marriage and children.
Players will now be able to continue building relationships beyond dating by experiencing each romance candidate's 10-heart event before eventually getting married. Once you've settled down with your favorite villager, you'll also have the option to start a family together.
One of my favorite things about Fields of Mistria has always been its incredibly charming cast of characters. Every villager feels unique and memorable, so I'm really excited that we'll finally be able to continue their stories beyond the previous heart limit.
The Town Repair Story Finally Concludes
If you've been patiently waiting to see how Mistria's story ends, version 1.0 finally delivers the conclusion.
Throughout Early Access, players have worked together with the townspeople to restore Mistria after the devastating earthquake. The full release wraps up the Town Repair storyline and concludes the main quest, allowing players to finally experience the complete narrative from beginning to end.
As someone who enjoys story-driven cozy games, I'm looking forward to seeing how everything comes together.
Explore New Dungeon Areas
The adventure doesn't stop above ground.
The magical mines and ruins are expanding with brand-new areas to explore, giving players even more opportunities to discover rare materials, battle monsters, and uncover hidden secrets.
Exploration has always been one of my favorite parts of Fields of Mistria. It strikes a wonderful balance between relaxing farming gameplay and light dungeon crawling, so I'm excited to see what new surprises are waiting underground.
Even More Farm Customization
Decorating your farm is about to become even more fun.
The 1.0 update introduces additional cosmetic customization options, including new home exterior designs that let you personalize your farmhouse even further. Players will also receive larger storage chests, making it much easier to organize all of your crafting materials, crops, furniture, and collectibles.
Considering how many decorative items there already are in the game, I have a feeling I'll be spending way too much time redesigning my farm all over again.
New Saturday Market NPCs
The weekly Saturday Market is also receiving some fresh faces.
Version 1.0 introduces brand-new NPCs that will visit the market, bringing even more life to one of Mistria's most charming locations. While not every new character has been revealed yet, I'm excited to see who we'll meet and what they'll have to offer.
New Language Support
The full release also makes Fields of Mistria more accessible to players around the world.

Ever since Fields of Mistria first launched in Early Access, it's felt like the farming sim I've always been looking for. Between its beautiful pixel art, cozy atmosphere, lovable characters, and magical world, it quickly became one of my favorite games in the genre.
Now that version 1.0 is finally here, I can't wait to jump back into Mistria, experience the conclusion of the story, decorate my farm all over again, and—most importantly—finally marry my favorite bachelor... although, if I'm being honest, I kind of wish I could marry all of them!
I'm incredibly tempted to start a brand-new save file to experience the full release from the very beginning. At the same time, I've already spent so many hours building friendships with the villagers, decorating my farm, and making Mistria feel like home that I don't think I'm quite ready to leave it behind. I'll probably continue with my original save to experience everything version 1.0 has to offer before eventually starting a fresh adventure.
