My Melody's Grandma's Jam Jamboree Cabin ♡ Hello Kitty Island Adventure

When My Melody's Grandma first became a permanent resident on my island, I just knew I had to give her a Jam Jamboree-themed cabin, especially when I saw that the cabin could be customized in this beautiful purple color. I think it goes perfectly with her adorable purple and pink bonnet! And let's be honest, making jam and running a little jam shop is just such a perfect hobby for a sweet little grandma.

When I first designed this cabin, I only had a few of the Jam Jamboree items that were included when I purchased the Deluxe Version of the game. To fill out the space and make it feel a little cozier, I added some Cottage furniture that I also customized to suit the color scheme. I especially love how the red checkered fabric customization on the Cottage Chair and Cottage Dining Table fits the Jam Jamboree theme so well. It actually looks like it was made to be part of the same set! One of the requirements for making My Melody's Grandma a resident is three pieces of Cottage furniture anyway, so that worked out perfectly. I also included some candles with the Creative tag and cakes with the Bread tag to fulfill the rest of her requirements.

As you might already know, you don't need to fulfill a visitor's requirements after they've become a permanent resident, but I still like to include them as a little challenge. It also gives me a sense of direction when creating cabins, especially when I'm working with a theme or trying to decide what items to include.

Sanrio × Olive Young: My Favorite Skincare Picks

If you know me, you probably know that Olive Young is one of my favorite places to shop for skincare and makeup. I’m always checking out their latest sales and new releases, but what I especially look forward to are their fun special collaborations!

Over the past year, I’ve had so much fun checking out some of Olive Young’s cutest collaborations, including the Pokémon collection they released a few months ago, the Kuromi and My Melody collection from last year, and the adorable Tanned Sanrio Characters collection. So, of course, when I saw that Olive Young was teaming up with Sanrio again, I had to take a look!

There are so many adorable products to discover in this collection, and honestly, I think they’re all worth checking out! But with so many cute products to choose from, I decided to split my favorites into separate posts. In this post, I’ll be focusing on some of my personal skincare favorites from the collection, including products I’ve already tried and loved, as well as some that simply caught my eye and made their way onto my wishlist. ♡

And yes, I may have gotten a little carried away again... I’ve already picked up quite a few products from the collection, and yet somehow, I’m still not satisfied and already want to go back for more! There are just too many cute things to choose from. ♡

Torriden DIVE IN Line — Sanrio Edition

Torriden is one of the skincare brands I always find myself coming back to, so naturally, their Sanrio collaboration immediately caught my attention. I absolutely love their DIVE IN line, and I can definitely understand why it has become so popular.

I haven’t tried every single product from the DIVE IN line, but I’ve really enjoyed the ones I have tried, and a few of them have even become staples in my skincare routine. I’ve always struggled with closed comedones and combination skin that can be both oily and dry, so finding products that keep my skin well hydrated without feeling heavy, making me oily, or causing breakouts can be a bit of a challenge. That’s one of the reasons I love the Dive In line so much. The products give my skin the hydration it needs while still feeling lightweight and comfortable.

Needless to say, I was thrilled to see some of my absolute favorites included in the Sanrio collaboration! The adorable Sanrio packaging is certainly a bonus, but it’s even better when it’s wrapped around products I already know and love.

Ganta's Camping Cabin ♡ Hello Kitty Island Adventure

If you've ever seen any of my HKIA cabin designs, you know that I love creating cute and pastel-colored cabins for my friends on Friendship Island. Decorating cabins for Koroppi's siblings and friends wasn't too difficult because their personalities and preferences are pretty clear, but when Ganta moved to my island, I had a surprisingly hard time coming up with a design that would suit him. Because of that, his cabin ended up sitting depressingly empty for quite a while.

The only things I really knew about Ganta were that, according to his description in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, "He is tough and strong and careful about disguising his fears," and that he likes items with the Rocky tag, which mostly consists of items from Gemstone Mountain. I usually like to base my cabin designs around what each character likes, but I already have a couple of cabins with a Gemstone Mountain theme, so I really didn't want to take that route for Ganta.

That finally changed when the Sunshine Celebration event came around about a month ago. The event introduced a whole collection of new camping-themed furniture, and Koroppi and all of his friends also received matching camping outfits. The moment I saw them all dressed up for camping, I immediately knew that Ganta had to have a camping-themed cabin! I'd already given Koroppi's other friends nature-inspired cabins, and I thought that a more outdoorsy camping aesthetic would suit Ganta perfectly.

Spilling the Tea on the Tea Garden DLC ♡ Hello Kitty Island Adventure

When the Hello Kitty Island Adventure: Tea Garden DLC was first announced, which you can read about here, I was incredibly excited, and that excitement definitely didn't go away when the DLC was finally released! I purchased it right away, and after finally having some time to sit down and explore everything, I’m excited to share my first look at the Tea Garden DLC.

The Tea Garden DLC brings a beautiful new collection of furniture and decorations for your Cabins, allowing you to create your very own Tea Garden, along with 15 new clothing items with over 300 variations, ranging from bonnets and bows to full Regency-inspired outfits for your character. There are also more than 15 new narrative quests to discover throughout Merry Meadows, as well as 38 new recipes, two new food stations, and over 30 new outfits for your Friends and Visitors. With so much centered around decorating, fashion, and new story content, this DLC feels like a lovely little expansion to Merry Meadows.

While this won't be a full, comprehensive guide to everything included in the DLC, I wanted to put together a brief overview of what you can expect when you first start playing. I'll go over how to begin the Tea Garden content, take a look at some of the new furniture, clothing, and customization options included in the DLC, and talk a little about the new decoration mode UI. I'll also touch on some of the other new additions and features, as well as share a few of my first impressions and the things I'm most excited about!

Snezhnaya Is Finally Here! ♡ My First Impressions & What I'm Most Excited About

After much waiting and anticipation, we can finally travel to the Cryo Nation of Snezhnaya in Genshin Impact and explore everything it has to offer! The final major nation of Teyvat has been teased for years, and finally getting to step into this frozen land for ourselves is honestly a little surreal. Located in the far north of Teyvat, Snezhnaya is the nation of eternal winter and the homeland of the Tsaritsa, the Cryo Archon, and the Fatui. It is also the setting for Chapter VII of the Archon Quest, making its arrival a particularly exciting milestone as we continue our journey across Teyvat.

Since I haven't had the chance to explore all of Snezhnaya just yet, this won't be a comprehensive overview or guide. Instead, I wanted to share some of my first impressions of the region, talk about the things that have caught my attention so far, and, of course, share some of the things I'm most excited about as we begin exploring this new nation.

While I know that many Travelers have thoroughly enjoyed previous regions such as Natlan, Fontaine, and Nod-Krai, I personally haven't been this excited about a new update since Inazuma first came out. After all these years of waiting, I'm so excited to finally set foot in Snezhnaya, discover what this frozen nation has to offer, and see what this new chapter of Genshin Impact has in store for us!

Moonlight Peaks Loveage Festival Guide ♡ Gift Exchange, Food Buffet & Flower Arranging

The Loveage Festival is a two-night spring festival in Moonlight Peaks, taking place on Spring 20 and Spring 21. A few nights before the festival begins, Llemi will send you a letter in the mail inviting you to prepare for the celebrations.

The Loveage Festival is all about getting closer to the villagers and raising your friendships with them. On the first night, you'll get a special cutscene when you enter town, where the villagers introduce you to the different festival stalls and activities. During the festival, you can contribute food to a town banquet, create a special flower arrangement with Luna, shop for Loveage-themed goodies, and take part in a secret gift exchange with the villagers.

In this little guide, I'll walk you through everything you can do during the Loveage Festival, from the different stalls and activities on the first night to the Secret Admirer Gift Exchange on the second night. So, let's take a look at what this lovely little festival has to offer! ♡
