Macaron's Fabulous Fairy Cabin ♡ Hello Kitty Island Adventure

When Macaron first moved to my island, I originally decorated her cabin using the Bonbon furniture from the Hugs & Hearts event earlier this year. It suited her sweet personality perfectly, and I absolutely loved how it turned out. Unfortunately, I forgot to take any screenshots before redesigning it!

During the Imagination Celebration event, Macaron received her own Imagination Fairytale Gown in one of the event cutscenes. The moment I saw her wearing it, I knew I had to redesign her cabin to match. The beautiful Fairy furniture collection, which was available throughout the event from April to May, was the perfect choice for creating a magical home that suited her new look.

Fairy-Themed Cabin

I decorated this cabin almost entirely using the Imagination Celebration Fairy furniture collection. Although the Fairy furniture can be customized into several beautiful color variations, I decided to keep everything in its original colors because they matched Macaron's Imagination Fairytale Gown perfectly. To complete the design, I also mixed in a few pieces from other furniture collections.

The furniture used in this build includes the Fairy Wallpaper, Fairy Flooring, Fairy Double Bed, Fairy Side Tables, Fairy Dining Table, Fairy Dining Chairs, Fairy Tea Set, Fairy Bench, Fairy Armchair, Fairy Bookcase, Fairy Armoire, Fairy Floor Lamp, Fairy Mirror, Fabulous Fairy Fountain, Fairy Pedestal, Fairy Pillars and My Sweet Piano Rugs.

For Macaron's requirements, I also included the Hugs & Hearts Heartwing Tree, Rose Petals, and a Sakura Pudding.

I love mixing furniture sets whenever they complement each other. The Hugs & Hearts and My Sweet Piano pieces blend beautifully with the Fairy collection while still giving Macaron a cabin filled with decorations she'll love.

Decorating Tips

Permanent Residents Don't Need Cabin Requirements

Once a visitor has become a permanent resident, you no longer need to meet their cabin requirements or include furniture they like. You can decorate their cabin however you want.

Personally, though, I like treating it as a fun decorating challenge. I enjoy creating cabins that not only look beautiful but also feel like they truly belong to each visitor by including furniture and decorations they'll actually appreciate.

Exchanging Beds for Double Beds

If you prefer using double beds in your cabin designs, you can exchange most regular beds for their double-bed versions at the Dessert Boat counter. It's an easy way to make a bedroom feel a little cozier without changing the overall furniture set.

For this cabin, I exchanged the regular Fairy Bed for the Fairy Double Bed.
